How the past sees the future
The Visual Dome is an entire world created with AI.
AI technologies are rapidly evolving, and aside from being a menace for professors wanting students to write their own papers, it is becoming a new medium in digital art.
The Visual Dome is an entire world created by AI that is seemingly straight out of any science fiction book, a mixture of Star Wars, Mad Max, The Jetsons, and classic comic books.
“A parallel world where time doesn’t exist on the same plane as ours. Everything feels strangely familiar but quite different. Technology has evolved to the same trajectory as our current world but the Dome seems to be oddly prevalent in an era reminiscent of our yesteryear. The Dome world functions the same way as our Earth does with laws, society, structure, evolution, invention, love, transportation, jobs, education, recreation, wildlife, fragile eco system and Mother Nature.”
In a society organized by blood type, characteristics of each district are accompanied by descriptions of economic and cultural status. Detailed diagrams of technology used by residents of the Dome have also been generated for a closer look into the headgear 80% of the characters wear.
Short stories expand the experiences and “history” of society living in the Dome. Each tale is dark, the details muddling the universe rather than clarifying it. Without bylines, each story simply states it was “written the classic way.” (Maybe this is the kind of world that inspired the movie ‘Don’t Worry Darling.’)
The Visual Dome is only one of many universes created by AI, a peculiar product of a man-made intelligence interpreting information about its creator.
