Twins Abigail and Elizabeth Ochse are redefining how jewelry can be worn.
The two founded Haus of Junon, creating couture crystal clothing as well as minimal gemstone jewelry. Putting lots of care into their work, they both travel around the country to mine as many of their own stones as they can. Currently based in Herkimer, New York, Abigail mines the Herkimer diamonds featured in their pieces.
Showing at the 2022 New York fashion week for the first time, the twins showcased the collection “Prepare To Be Enchanted,” boudoir crystal adornments glistening down the runway. The two put the collection together after being invited to show only 18 days prior to the event.
This show brought Haus of Junon to the next level, allowing them to show at London Fashion week and being part of World Fashion Week Dubai.
With many collections, each piece is made to order in their shop. See the 2022 collections here. Every gem gets a custom setting making each piece one-of-a-kind.
They write in their personal statement, “Inspired by fairytales, old Hollywood glamour, the mythological and the fantastical, the twins goal is to bring more magic into life through their work. They know the transformative power of both crystals & clothing and believe that with the right piece everyone can feel like royalty.”
With a line of beautiful bridal pieces, their eye for elegant and timeless designs shines through the use of crystals, diamonds, and pearls. See more of the bridal collection here.
Taking their work to social media, Haus of Junon has garnered a whopping 638.3k followers on TikTok. Posting behind the scenes of their designs, it is fascinating to see the process of creating a corset out of crystals. Their attention to detail is impeccable and many brides are gravitating toward adding additional crystal adornments for their big day.
